Fish Health Program Activities
In response to the
1997
Environmental Assessment Review of Aquaculture, the government of
British Columbia has developed a comprehensive policy designed to
improve monitoring and regulation of fish health and disease issues in
the aquaculture industry. The five-part fish health program will ensure
a coordinated approach to fish health management for private and public
cultured salmon in B.C.
