Crop Profitability and Planning for Profit Financial Worksheets
Designed for grain, oilseed, pulse and forage seed farms. There
are ten linked spreadsheets. Eight of them are specific to a crop
and calculate the contribution margin for each crop. The ninth
spreadsheet calculates net income and the return on investment and
equity. The final spreadsheet shows how sensitive profitability is to
changes in crop prices and production costs. Crops include: Wheat,
Barley, Oats, Canola, Peas, Forage Seed, Corn, Soybeans
Used to develop a Projected Income Statement and
Projected Cash Flow Statement for the farm business. Once
you have developed an enterprise budget for each of your
commodities you can then copy this information from each of the
Enterprise Worksheets directly into this Total Crop Plan Worksheet
(up to eight enterprises).
