Specified Risk Materials Program
In partnership between Agriculture and Agri-food
Canada (AAFC) and the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Lands (BCMAL),
the Specified Risk Materials (SRM) Program is designed
to assist the province’s beef processing sector in complying with
the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s enhanced feed ban, which takes
effect on July 12, 2007.
Information on eligibility, financial assistance and program
applications will be available shortly. Please see below for
details.

The Specified Risk Material Management Program requests all potential Subprogram C applicants submit complete applications to the Program by
October 15, 2008. Those applicants who are unable to meet the October 15, 2008 deadline may request an extension to October 31, 2008. Applications received after October 15, 2008 may not be reviewed.
